    Job Description:

    A world leader in security policy management is hiring an inside sales and sales development team leader in New Jersey.The leader will establish the north American team and work closely with marketing and sales teams to aggressively identify and qualify new business opportunities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Recruit and lead the sales development team for north America - spend more time on managerial duties as the team grows.

    Receive and qualify inbound inquiries through website, events, webinars and other channels, route qualified opportunities to salespersons.

    Employ web and social media resources to research and identify new qualified opportunities.

    Initiate phone and Email prospecting methods to schedule qualified appointments for field sales team.

    Update and maintain accuracy of company CRM.

    Define metrics and provide reports to show lead generation and qualification KPIs.

    Attend events and tradeshows as needed.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in inside sales or sales in a B2B software company.
    • Direct managerial experience - strong advantage.
    • Experience in security software sales - strong advantage.
    • Attentive to details, great follow up skills and time management skills.
    • Self motivated, independent.
    • Experience penetrating accounts and companies and spotting the right contacts.
    • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions.
    • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) - strong advantage.
    • An academic degree - must. In a business related field - advantage.
