An innovative American company developing and marketing medical products with a new edge is building a world-class, performance-driven marketing team and is looking for an Online Marketing Director to join as the company's digital leader.
The Online Marketing Director is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will lead and shape the way the company is doing online marketing. This includes building, growing, managing and mentoring a large team of digital professionals.
This Online Marketing Director role is both analytical and operational, as you will relentlessly find ways to improve marketing performance while executing tactical initiatives to drive customer acquisition and loyalty through sophisticated segmented campaigns, behavioral triggers, and optimization of creative assets across all digital channels. This needs to be done with a deep understanding of the customer and the underlying reasons for behaviors, not just surface-level observations.
Being a data-driven manager is critical for creating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the company.
Establish and build the online marketing department: recruit, lead, educate and mentor your team on digital best practices, ensuring their continued development and growth
Act as a key player in the definition and acceleration of the products' digital journey
Design and deliver online performance and e-commerce growth to meet and exceed revenue goals
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that unite all digital and social assets to drive volume growth and market share
Create, coordinate and execute online marketing plans over multiple channels; measure performance, and determine best strategies/tactics
Own the entire acquisition funnel including campaign ideas, implementation and conversion
Identify and analyze audience segments, recognize new trends and generate valuable insights based on customer behavior analysis
Manage the online marketing and eCommerce budget, from definition to day-to-day management
Utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption
Interact with internal and external leaders; report to senior management in the US
10+ years of marketing experience
5+ years of experience managing digital marketing teams
Experience in developing and executing multichannel digital marketing plans in a complex and wide online operation
Entrepreneurial and founder mindset with strong agility to change
A clear understanding of key digital marketing levers (paid, earned and owned) including but not limited to search, email, affiliates and social media
Strong analytical, planning, analysis and budget management skills
Ability to develop, execute, and communicate a long-term strategic vision while also balancing immediate priorities and opportunities
Native or very high-level English, with outstanding communication skills both in writing and in speech
High command of analytics and reporting tools
Proven organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects within tight timeframes
Passionate about eCommerce and Online marketing
A relevant academic degree - must. MBA - advantage
